Learn how to search for guides and track your own progress through them.

Creating a Tracker #

Trackers are copies of a guide owned by a user that allow the user to track their individual progress through the guide. When viewing a guide, you will have the option of creating a tracker for it by clicking "Create Tracker."

After a tracker is created, it will be listed under /trackers. This page is only visible to you. Each tracker listed is presented with a card displaying your progress through the guide.

When you create a tracker from a guide, you are effectively making a copy of it. If the original guide is updated, your copy does not update with it. You can always compare the version of your tracker with the original guide via the dates. Even if the author of the guide deletes the original, your tracker will still be available.

Tracking Your Progress #

Here's a walkthrough of how a guide is laid out, along with the type of steps you might encounter. Feel free to click/tap the trackers in the top-right of each step to get a feel for how they work.

Share Your Tracker #

Your trackers are always unlisted, meaning they cannot be found unless you know the link. If you'd like to share your tracker with someone (read-only), click the link button at the top of your tracker.

Reporting Content #

Smees are required to follow a content policy, which prohibits certain content from being included in guides or linked to from guides. If you see something that doesn't look right, or there's a bug/problem with the page, click "Report" from the main menu, and you'll be able to provide your feedback or report a concern.
